Editable engineering settings: 2 mm tray thickness, 1 mm relief, 0.8 mm sampling and lower rim widths are starting settings, not values established by these slides. Tray thickness and relief are measured along the chosen insertion axis. Posterior lower landmarks must be placed at the intended level; the app does not infer the pad height automatically.

Scope: manual cast analysis and design geometry. Soft tissue behavior, facial midline, functional borders, jaw relation and vertical dimension cannot be established from a single cast STL. The final impression and jaw relation lectures remain clinical/typodont checks outside this model.

Before fabrication: review border extension, relief, insertion direction, local thickness, fit, intersections, printer/material compensation and biocompatibility. A closed STL alone does not establish suitability for use.
